Alcohol and Drug Offense and Sanctions

No student shall possess or consume, distribute, manufacture or sell an alcoholic beverage or container on East Georgia State College property or at institutionally approved events or unlawfully possess or consume distribute, manufacture, or sell an alcoholic beverage or container 远离EGSC财产.
      2. No student shall be under the influence of alcohol while on East Georgia State College property or at institutionally approved events, or under the influence of alcohol in such a way that it violates federal, state, or local laws on or off campus.

Possible Disciplinary Sanctions for Alcohol Code of Conduct Violation

The following are possible disciplinary sanctions which may be imposed upon a student for infractions of the Code of Conduct’s alcohol and/drug policy. 这个列表可能不会 be taken to be exhaustive and may be enlarged or modified to meet the particular circumstances 在任何情况下.

      • Online Alcohol Program to be paid by the student;

      • Parental Notification will be issued for students under age 21 as allowed by FERPA for alcohol violations.

      • 30 Hours of Community Service;
      • Attend Alcohol Educational Program;

      • Parental Notification will be issued for students under age 21 as allowed by FERPA for alcohol violations.

No student shall unlawfully possess or consume (without a valid dental or medical prescription), distribute, manufacture or sell illegal or dangerous drugs or drug-related paraphernalia on East Georgia State College property or at institutionally approved events or unlawfully possess or consume (without a valid dental or medical prescription), distribute, manufacture, or sell illegal or dangerous drugs or drug-related paraphernalia 远离EGSC财产.
      2. No student shall be under the influence of illegal or dangerous drugs while on East Georgia State College property or at institutionally approved events, or under the influence of illegal or dangerous drugs in such a way that it violates federal, state, or local laws on or off campus.

Possible Disciplinary Sanctions for Drug Code of Conduct Violation
